We are continuing to shape a new strategy for Brevard County to transform our economy in the wake of the changes to NASA’s space program. The federal government has asked for our input in making investments in Brevard County in the coming months. We will give them guidance…with clear details based on the input we gather.

On July 12, we will be conducting our second Strategic Doing session for Overcoming the Space Challenge Through Regional Innovation. This open forum will generate additional insights and action helpful for our strategy. Please plan to attend. Here are the details:

Time:       8:30 AM to 1:30 PM

Place:      Holiday Inn Viera

At this forum we will:

Connect the dots: A lot has been happening in our county to prepare for the changes coming to Kennedy Space Center. We’ll give you an overview of how these activities relate to one another.

Orient you to the emerging strategy: We will show you how these different initiatives fit into our strategy.

Sharpen our strategy:  We have begun building new networks to help us absorb the shock of the NASA space program changes. Through these networks we are quickly reconnecting and redeploying our assets. Most of the session will be spent with strategic doing exercises designed to help us strengthen the networks.

We hope you can join us. Transforming our economy is a shared responsibility. By setting aside some time on July 12th, you’re helping all of us meet the challenges ahead. We thank you in advance for your time.
